IT HAS BEEN BY FAR THE CLOSEST HAND GRIP TO A 1911. THE THINGS I DIDN''T LIKE WAS THE HANDLE WAS SIGNIFICANTLY THICKER THAN A ACTUAL 1911 GRIP. I REMOVED THE SIDE PANELS AND TAPPED THE FINGER GRIP INTO PLACE. SECOND THE ALLEN HEAD OF THE BOLT IS HARD GET TO. IT WOULD BE REAL NICE TO HAVE A 90 DEGREE ALLEN WRENCH INCLUDED.

While I like the AR stock grip, it''s a little small for my hand. My natural grip puts the trigger midway down my 2nd joint... not good. Being a 1911 lover all my life, I decided to try these grips. Bingo! The angle is .45, the whole thing just feels like home; with an AR attached! I love ''em. If you love 1911''s, you''ll love ''em too.
BTW, they come with the grip itself (simulating a .45 frame), rubber grips, and a rubber finger groove insert thingy. I haven''t tried the finger groove thing, not a big fan. Looks like it would be fine if you''re into those. It attaches with thin rubber sides that go under the grips.

had no problem installing the grip on my ar-15 the grips needed to be trimed with a razor blade but fit great
