Took a little bench work to get the coversion kit to fit to my satisfaction. But considering the reasonalbe price, the fit and finish are more than acceptable. TGS is not the manufaturer of this product, that''s the only reason I won''t mention it took over 8 months to fill the order!! Oops! I guess I just mentioned it. TGS was very good at keeping me posted on the status of my order. I''ll do business with them again in the future. JW

Wonderful. The barrel went on without any modification. Haven''t shot through it yet, but shells are feeding just fine. Extra finger hold clip is a nice touch too. The clip needed to be slid in and out a dozen times before feeling smooth, but all is good now. Can''t believe how inexpensive it was. Completely changes the look of the gun from a pocket concealer, to a full size gun... almost; in any case, it only takes seconds to change it back to match your days agenda.

I own a Phoenix Arms HP22, that I have shot over 1000 rounds threw. Awesome little gun.Im having a hard time finding another slide for it.Does anybody know where I can find one? Thanks, Russell

Make sure you put the clip back in the right place before putting the barrel on, this may be why you''re supposedly notching the barrel to fit. It should slide right in. The clip and spring go underneath and interlock.

So far I am happy with my conversion kit for my 22. The only problem was when I went to put the new barrel on I had to file a groove in it where the 3" barrel had one because there wasn''t one on the 5". But that was easy enough. And the extended magazine is nice for when my boyfriend shoots because he has very large hands. He says it''s much more comfortable. For the price I think this is well worth it.

Like other reviews here, the barrel didn't lock into place. However, with a little time and the proper tools, a groove can be cut into the bottom of the barrel to allow it to seat properly. All of these are manufactured this way. Hopefully this is something that Phoenix will correct in the near future. Otherwise, it's a good addition to this firearm.

I purchased the 5" barrel kit for my Phoenix .22 auto handgun. I was pleased with the prompt service and courteous personell at Gun Source. The new barrel slipped right on. Took no more than 5 minutes installation and I was "back in business" again, firing my Phoenix.
